Working to Make Today’s Dream, Tomorrow’s Reality!

On March 14, 2012, Linda Knohl, President and one of the founders of the Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation, was presented with the prestigious “Certificate of Congressional Recognition” at Anaheim’s Women's History Month Ceremony. Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez and Anaheim City Councilwoman Lorri Galloway recognized Linda Knohl for her “Dedication to the Arts and Invaluable Contributions to the Community.”
The line that drew the biggest applause was Lorri Galloway’s: “THIS IS HER DREAM ... AND IT WILL BECOME A REALITY” - referring to Linda’s long-standing dream of building a performing arts center in Anaheim.
CONGRATULATIONS LINDA on your well-deserved recognition!!

Star Struck – Producer Ronn Goswick fills us in

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a celebrity - no a "star" - as a friend.  And then did you ever wonder what it would be like to have that "friend" come over to your house.  And finally did you ever dream of having that friend sing for you in your living room.Well that is exactly what happens to me - all the time.  This weekend we did a marathon session of rehearsals.  Everyone was there from Lizzie Weiss to David Burnham, from Lea Thompson to Matt Zarley, from Ace Young (who brought his girlfriend - Diana DeGarmo) to Shirley Jones and her son Patrick Cassidy.
YES I SAID SHIRLEY JONES.  She arrived wearing a great looking outfit accompanied by her son Patrick and grandson Jack.  They proceeded to explain their number to us - a duet from The Music Man.  Now that is surreal in it's own sentence.  Who ever thought that I would have Shirley Jones singing Till There Was You in my living room but it happened.
I can't tell you how special it made me feel and then on the way out the door, she leaned over and hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
Now that is what I call a "Star" making a dream come true.
